6 Nations 6 Flavours

One of the biggest competitions in the northern hemisphere is just around the corner, and we absolutely can’t wait. This year’s competition could prove to be the most exciting yet, with no clear favourite and each team having a lot to play for. Two major contenders, England and France, have installed new head coaches, in Eddie Jones and Guy Noves respectively, and Ireland will be looking to bag the Six Nations Title hat trick, a feat never before achieved.

Scotland, meanwhile, were arguably the most successful team in what was a poor display from the northern hemisphere in last year’s World Cup, and come into the Six Nations in excellent shape. Wales too have reason to be excited, as they have a knack of completing the Grand Slam immediately after the World Cup (2007 and 2011). With all this, Italy won't want to phone it in, they'll be on top form we're sure.

Now, the best way to enjoy a good game of rugby is with a good pack of biltong, and with all the excitement around the corner, we’ve decided to combine the two! 6 teams, 6 flavours. Each team now has their own flavour, so let the games begin!

Peppered Steak – England. Simple but effective.

Peri Peri – Wales. Nice, with a bit of spice.

Garlic – France. Well, it could only be the French.

Fiery Habanero – Italy. We’re expecting fireworks from the Italians this year.

Teriyaki  Ireland. A complex flavour, which drives the senses.

BBQ – Scotland. Distinctive and full of intent.

Look out for your favourite flavour and team in your local pub, or buy online to get ready for the big games!
